Wadi Computech is a leading specialist in the world of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Wadi Computech was founded in January 2014 after its founder, Mohomed Farook Wadiwala, had spent over thirty-one years in the Business IT discipline in the context of the South African business environment.
Until this time, the information technology industry was pre-occupied with the provision of computer operations, which were seen by corporate management as rapidly becoming mission critical. The focus was on surviving a disaster should one occur.
The differentiating concept behind Wadi Computech is the fact that it is not only the information assets that are at risk within an organisation, but also its people, resources and equipment. Therefore, Wadi Computech is positioned to address both the Business and IT strategy by identifying the IT infrastructure and remediating these with the appropriate business strategies, processes and plans. In order to achieve this, Wadi Computech works along the critical path with the organisation to identify the mission critical assets, processes and procedures. The potential exposures are identified and remediated. The major deliverables are a risk management process and a fully defined project with and indeterminate start time and date; but, a well-defined duration with tasks, resource maps, schedules and dependencies.
Today, Wadi Computech has a new vision which includes focussing its services on the entire business incorporating IT services and solutions providing consulting services for the infrastructure, network design and developing Business and IT Service Continuity. In so doing, Wadi Computech is focussing its attentions on the rapidly growing mobile and emerging business markets. Wadi Computech embodies this new vision.
